Polari First Book Prize 2013

The January Flower has been nominated to the longlist of the Polari First book Prize 2013. It is in very good company as one of eleven works of fiction, non fiction and poetry. Broderick is based on the Isle of Skye where she works as a cleaner of holiday cottages. She lives with her daughter, their dog and a cat. She has been mentored by Roger Hutchinson (Callum’s Road) via HI-Arts (Emergents) Talent Development program.
The January Flower can be purchased in selected bookshops around the Highlands and Islands of Scotland (see list) OR via using the contact form here on the website.
